The Hennepin was established to provide an accessible venue for artists in the Hennepin Theatre District.

The building is an ideal location to present, rehearse and develop performance and visual art. Our dedicated gallery, expansive studio and flexible breakout spaces can hold live theater, concerts, art exhibits and rehearsals.

  • Studio 900, our largest space, can seat 250 theater style or be cleared for 2,800 square feet of rehearsal space

Give back with your gathering

Hennepin Arts, owner of The Hennepin, is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit arts organization. All revenue from events at The Hennepin support Hennepin Arts’ artistic and educational programs. When you host an event at The Hennepin, you can take pride in the fact that your hard-earned money is being used to benefit the community and sustain the arts in Minneapolis and across Minnesota.

Pricing

Our prices vary depending on your date, guest count and which spaces you are interested in. Special rates and arrangements are available for nonprofits and artists. We scale our rates for your situation. We want to be your home for events, meetings and performances.
